About Us
AsianTeaDepot.com was formed by a husband and wife team with a passion for enjoying a great cup of tea and sharing it with our friends and family. We offer a wide variety of quality whole teas to our customers at a much reasonable price than those of our competitors. We are able to offer lower prices and higher quality teas because of our lower overhead and we do not pay rent to maintain a fancy teashop. ALL cost savings are passed back onto you and shipping costs is a low flat fee of $4.95. Once you try our whole teas, you will never want to drink mass produced teas from the supermarket ever again. Most important of all, you do not need to be a “tea connoisseur” to appreciate, analyze and love our teas. Welcome to our circle of friends!

Asianteadepot.com Whole Leaf Teas - VS - Mass Produced Tea Brands

Asianteadepot.com Tea Brand – We carry ONLY whole leave teas from the finest rich tea estate producing countries like Japan, China, Taiwan, Sri Lanka and South Africa to maximize customer’s tea drinking experience while maintaining NONE of Corporate America’s overhead. These whole leaf tea producing countries take tremendous passion, pride and care in producing the world's most well known product. As a result, the tea harvests that these farmers bring to us are the most unique, flavorful and healthy teas.

Mass Produced Teas - Typically, mass-produced teas are offered at your local supermarket because these are the fastest and easiest manufactured teas to help gain maximum profit margin. As a result, the quality is just simply the bottom of the barrel. One can easily see this by simply cutting open a typical tea bag and observe. In our industry, this is considered to be low-quality bags containing tea dust - the tiny leaf particles that break off when tea leaves are processed. Many of these teas don't even come from Asia. In fact, most of these low grade teas come from South America. The manufacturers will add unhealthy coloring to mislead and enhance your cup, but not much flavor. Giant global conglomerate do this without shame to cut costs, which is a far cry from the abundant flavors and intoxicating aromas found in a cup of gourmet Asian whole leaf tea.
